hello!

I’m Lyssa (pronounced like Alyssa without the “ah.” I’m a creative leader with over 15 years of experience helping nonprofits (like the International Rescue Committee & No Kid Hungry), mission-driven organizations (like the National Geographic Society), and digital media companies (like Aol, YES, the “you’ve got mail” America Online) achieve their goals through strategic content production.

Currently: Associate Director of Content at the International Rescue Committee

Profesionlly: I lead a team of story tellers who collect, curate, and create engaging stories about the IRC’s response to emergencies and crises and the people who are impacted, to will help support revenue, advocacy and brand efforts.

Formerly Digital Strategist at the National Endowment for Democracy, Web Producer at No Kid Hungry, Digital Producer at the National Geographic Society, and Content Producer at Aol.

Personally: I am a goal getter, guilty of harrassing strangers to vote, kicked a 3-hour commute to the curb after the pandemic, mom of a pandemic baby (who is also my dance instructor), and the wife of a man who used to be a professional mascot.
